A Time Apart By: Diane Stanley

Ginny's mom has cancer, so she is sent away to live with her father in England. It just so happens that her father is part of a research project that means living on an Iron Age farm with no modern comforts. Ginny has to adapt to life on the farm, with the help of her new friends Daisy and Corey.

This was a cute beach read, but I think Ginny is a little too young.
Middle schoolers should love this book.
