Boy Meets Girl By: Meg Cabot

Kathleen Mackenzie works at the NY Journal for Amy Jenkins a.k.a. the T.O.D. (tyrannical office despot). But have no fear because luckily, she has a friend, Jen Sadler, whom she can spill all her troubles to. So, she has to fire one of the most liked employees at the Journal because she refused to give a man a piece of her heavenly tasting key lime pie. why stress over this??? Because the employee she has to fire is Ida Lopez, and she makes the greatest cakes, cookies, pie, you name it, and because her boss, the T.O.D., is engaged to the man Ida refused to give pie to, Stuart Hertzog. Stuart happens to be a lawyer and so is his brother, Mitchell Hertzog. After being fired, Ida Lopez decides to sue the company and Mitchell and Kate meet and fall head over heels each other. What will happen next? Will they marry each other and live happily ever after? Well, turns out they have to go through a whole lot more to do that!!!!

I liked the fact that Meg Cabot uses emails, instant messaging and phone messages to tell the story. It's a great and unique way to express the characters' feelings.

People who like reading books about problems, adults, and like Meg Cabot would like this book.

Other titles similar to this book are Every Boy's Got One and The Boy Next Door, both by Meg Cabot.
