Evangeline Mudd and the Golden-Haired Apes of the Ikkinasti Jungle

By: David Elliott

Evangeline Mudd lives with her parents in a bungalow in New England. Her parents are primatologists and know almost everything about golden-haired apes. Since Merriweather and Magdalena Mudd are obsessed with golden-haired apes, they want to raise Evangelina like one. Suprisingly, one day Evangeline's parents has been told to go on a trip to the Ikkinasti Jungle for research. Poor Evangeline has to stay at her dad's cousin's house for two weeks, while her parents go on an adventure. Two weeks pass by and her parents don't return, so Evangeline has to go to the dangerous Ikkinasti Jungle to find them. Will she find her parents or will she be parentless forever?

I like it when Evangeline had to go to the doctor to get injections and the doctor placed a popsicle stick in her mouth; Evangeline could taste plenty of flavors. I dislike it when Rexi was cutting down trees in the Ikkinasti Jungle to make toothpicks out of them. I suggest this book for people who are obsessed with golden-haired apes and like adventure books. Other books with this author(David Elliott)are:And Here's to You!, High Rhulain, Finn Throws a Fit, What the Grizzly Knows, and Evangeline Mudd's Great Mink Rescue.
