Gone By: Michael Grant

One day, while a boy named Sam is in school, everyone over the age of 15 disappears. They're just... gone. And, just as suddenly, there are no phones, no internet, no television. No way to find out what's happened, or any way to get help. Everything is changing. The bullies are ruling, and preying upon the weak. Animals are mutating. And the kids themselves are changing, developing strange new powers. Sam needs to find a way to survive, and time is running out. Because on his 15th birthday, he'll disappear just like everyone else.

What I liked about this book is that it uses real information, so it almost makes you believe that it could happen in real life. What I disliked about this book was the romance. I don't think that it was done very well. Kisses just all of a sudden appear out of nowhere. There's like nothing that builds up to it.

Anyone who likes the supernatural and science fiction might like this book. The book The Supernaturalist by Eoin Colfer is similar to this book.
