Three men in a boat By: Jerome Klapka

Although debatable, in my opinion, Jerome K. Jerome's crowning achievement is Three Men in a Boat. This extremely funny novel details a trip three men (not to forget the dog) take up the Thames. The hijinks that follow force the reader to: a) split their sides laughing, b) gaffaw, c) chortle, or d) crack at least a smile. This illustrated novel is perfect for anyone that is a humorist, or just needs a laugh. I personally liked the entire book, excluding, of course, the jokes I could not understand, which were few and far between. For anyone searching for more Jerome, he also wrote Three Men on Wheels.
