When the Phone Rang By: Harry Mazer

Billy just moved to a new city with his family and was making a fresh, new start. Only Billy didnt know this new life would involve having no parents. One phone call changed his life when he found out his parents died in a plane explosion. Now Billy, Lori, and Kevin have to figure out how to live without a mom and dad. Can they make it through this tragic news and move on? Will they be able to get past all the hard times and survive?
This sad story can relate to some kids and gives you a grip on reality and realizing how special family is. Middle school kids would have a fun time reading this.
