Later when it started to grow the other fairs weren’t so keen on the smell and they might even make Lily cut down the plant. What will happen? Read the book to find out. I liked the book. It was an interesting book about how fairs worked together. It keeps you reading the book every monument to find out what happens next.

The Novel 1942 by Robert Conroy, is a thrilling alternate history story about Pearl Harbor and the attack the Japanese didn't go through with. The Japanese now have control of Hawaii and it is the story of occupation from the eyes of the enemy, F.D.R, and Jake, an army soldier ready to take back Hawaii. It's a great book filled mystery, treachery, action, romance, and the horrors of WWII on U.S soil. This novel however depicts an occupied city and the horrors that go on there, anyone that lacks maturity should not read this book.

When Dylan Walsh goes to attend a boarding school in Virginia, she realizes what it means to start over in a new place, and having to make all new friends. Her dad has to drive her all the way to Virigina, because she loves horseback riding, and at Chestnut Hill, it is what is taught to the students. One of the changes that Dylan has to overcome is making new friends, becuase she doens't know anyone there. She ends up picking some bad people for friends, but eventually fimnds a group of friends that support her, everytime she has a tournament to compete in. She also begins to like a certain guy in her class, and she wonders if he likes her back, but he never says anything about it. Dylan also has to juggle all of her regular written school work, as well as learning to ride the horses to. I liked that this is a book that a lot of girls can relate to, becuase it shows what its like to be a teenage girl, and have to go through all of that drama, as well as handling your school work. Readers who like drama, and realistic fiction would be the ones who would like this book. Other authors similar to this style of writing would be Lauren Myracle.

This book is about a boy named John Midas, and the only thing his parents can get him to eat is chocolate. John doesn't like any other food, and he doesn't realize that he isn't getting the vitamins and minerals he needs to grow properly. His parents decide that he needs to go to the doctor, because they are afraid that if he doesn't get help now, he could grow up to have health problems. When they take him, the doctor prescribes a medicine that has everything he needs, until John eats other solid foods. One day, he finds a coin, that can only be used at a certain store a couple of streets away from where he lives. With the coin, he buys a box, and inside the box, it contains only one piece of chocolate. That chocoalte gives him the power that everything he eats turns to chocolate, no matter what it is. John soon learns that just eating chocolate all the time can be a bad thing, and eventually he goes back to the store he originally bought the chocoalte from, to go back to the way he was before, eating regular foods. I didn't like the fact that this book was to predictable, and it was just the average story plot, and conclusion. Kids who might like this book are kids in grades 5 and 6. Other authors similar to this book would be the magic tree house books.

Catch 22 is a satirical novel that shows you what fighting in a war can do to your personality and your life style. The main character, Yossarian, is the only one that wants to leave the war and go home, but there are too many catches preventing him from leaving. Yossarian realizes that he doesn't fit in with a normal society and he has to learn how to cope with his friends' deaths. This book is extremely funny but I didn't like it. People who like comedy might like it, but it is very long and can get very boring easily.
